Al Lee

Al Lee joined Team Emerson in 1989 as a Systems Engineer with an Emerson Local Business Partner.  Al now works for Emerson directly.  Over the years, Al has held many positons within the organization and has a tremendous breath of knowledge in Emerson products.  This knowledge has allowed him to talk with customers about solutions to their control problems. Al’s current area of focus is modernization and migrations.

Alex Kidd

Alex Kidd joined REM Services in 2008 as a Support Engineer for the Act-Smart® program.  Alex has worked on various applications on the Special Projects Team, in Valve Automation support and fabrication roles and also does  CAD design.  He graduated in 2008 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University.

Brad Emry

Brad Emry is an Account Manager for R.E. Mason and is based in the Charleston, SC office. He is a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Nebraska and worked in applications engineering and marketing roles for Fisher Controls in Marshalltown, Iowa for eight years prior to joining R.E. Mason in 1992.  In addition to account responsibilities, Brad supports the REM Services Act-Smart® products and is one of REM's FIELDVUE Champions.

Brad Illing

Brad Illing is the Business Development Manager for the Southeastern Region for Emerson Process Management’s Machinery Health Company.  Brad has worked in vibration and machinery health since 1995, and is registered as an EIT in South Carolina. Brad holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Clemson University.

Bruce Greenwald

Bruce Greenwald is currently Vice President of Engineering Services for REM Services, Inc.  Bruce started his career with Dow Chemical in Freeport, TX, after graduating from the University of Kansas with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1979. He joined Fisher Controls in 1983 and has worked for Emerson and REM Services, Inc. during the last 25 years. Bruce's major focus is batch process control, primarily in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Charlie Sasser

Charlie Sasser joined REM Services in 2001.  He is currently a System Sales Consultant and an Account Manager.  Before coming to REM Services he worked in pre-sales and business development roles at a number of web-based software companies and for 16 years with a competitive DCS company.  He helps customers identify their needs and find practical solutions.  Charlie is also responsible for the company’s new web and e-marketing efforts. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

Craig Johnson

Craig Johnson is an Account Manager for R.E. Mason Company of the Carolinas and the REM Business Development Manager for Instrument & Valve Services.  He joined R.E. Mason Company in 1989 after graduating from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Polymer Chemistry.  Craig works with the power industry where he serves fossil and nuclear customers and specializes in the integration of Emerson Services with plant maintenance programs.

Darius McIntosh

Darius McIntosh joined REM Services, Inc. in September 2006, as a co-op in the Project Execution Services group. He has worked in the Site Services Group since January 2007, primarily performing DeltaV systems staging and installations, upgrades and preventive maintenance. Darius has a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Dave Phillips

Dave Phillips joined the REM Services, Inc. team in 2008 as Valve Automation Specialist and Director of Business Development.  Dave has experience in the industrial control and automated valve market since graduating in 1977 with a BS degree in Business Management and Economics.  Dave spent his first 16 years with Neles-Jamesbury in various sales management and marketing positions.  Fifteen years prior to joining REM, Dave was a Vice President with a competitor and lead their industrial valve business in the Carolinas.

Drew Shuping

Drew Shuping joined REM Services, Inc. in 2005 and is currently a Systems Engineer.  He graduated from North Carolina State University in 2004 with a BS in Computer Engineering, a BS in Computer Science, and a BS in Electrical Engineering.  Drew joined IBM in Durham, NC where he was employed as a co-op for 2 years.  As a Systems Engineer at REM Services, Inc., his primary focus is developing custom software tools and applications.  Drew works with OPC clients, database applications, web reporting applications and documentation tools that extract information from DeltaV control database files.

Ed Butler

Ed Butler currently serves as a valve automation technical resource to REM’s account managers, inside sales and project teams.  Ed has a Business Administration degree from Wingate College and joined REM in 1986.  In the past, he served on the Distributor Advisory Boards of WEY Valve USA and Kinetrol USA and currently serves on the Emerson Valve Automation FieldQ Advisory Board.

Gordon Lawther

Gordon Lawther is currently a modernization sales specialist with Emerson.  He has worked for Emerson the past 7 years.  Gordon was previously with Invensys for 3 years and ABB for 15 years. He has been an application engineer, project manager and program manager and has a background in the pulp and paper industry. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson is a Sales Support Specialist for Emerson's Asset Optimization division.  He has worked for Emerson the past 8 years in various roles in both IT and Marketing.  He started in the IT group at Rosemount in 2001 doing IT support for Field Sales employees.  In 2005, he joined the Global Marketing team at Rosemount working with eBusiness.  Joe's primary focus is with the AMS Device Manager, AMS Asset Portal and the 475 Field Communicator.  He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2001 with a BA in MIS.

Kelly Waters

Kelly Waters is the Southeast Business Development Manager for Rosemount.  He is a 21 year veteran of Rosemount.  Kelly covered central and coastal South Carolina for 10 years as a Rosemount representative.  Prior to joining Rosemount, he worked for 5 years with Johnson Controls.  Kelly has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.

Larry Wolfe

Larry Wolfe has worked with the R.E. Mason family of companies for over 25 years and currently serves as the Director of Technology Deployment for REM Services, Inc. He has a MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS is Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He has worked with instrumentation and process control systems for more than 27 years and has worked with process industries in the Carolinas since 1974.  Larry is the AMS Intelligent Device Manager Champion and a PlantWeb Champion for bus technologies. He has hands-on experience with many AMS IDM and Foundation Fieldbus system installations. He also supports the Proof-of-Concept System at REM Services, Inc.'s offices in Charlotte, NC.

Mark Moore

Mark Moore joined REM Services, Inc. in August, 2005, as a Lead Installed Base Services Engineer, and is currently the Manager of Installed Base Services.  He began his career at Westinghouse Savannah River Company in November 1988.  Mark’s initial assignment was in real-time physical security (access control, intrusion detection, and closed-circuit television) systems on VAX/VMS and VAXELN computers.  After brief assignments in digital signal processing and reactor instrumentation, Mark became a manager of PLC/HMI development and maintenance. In the late 90's, Mark worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory developing control systems for a linear accelerator.  His last assignment at the Savannah River Site was replacing the DWPF DCS, with a focus on specification requirements, vendor selection, and technical review and approval, and then maintaining the subsequent DeltaV system.  He focuses on resolving customer issues, commissioning, backing up, and upgrading DeltaV systems.  Mark has a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.

Martin Berutti

Martin Berutti is the Business Director at MYNAH Technologies. Areas of expertise include process simulation, control system and network design, and information integration. Martin has served with MYNAH and Experitec (parent company of MYNAH) for over 18 years and has held positions of Systems Engineer, Performance Consultant, Project Manager, and Director of Performance Technology. Previous employers included Fisher Controls, Rosemount, and Applied Automation. He is a Chemical Engineering graduate from University of Missouri-Rolla.

Michael Miller

Michael Miller joined R.E. Mason Company in April 2010.  He is responsible for helping customers with machinery health challenges. Michael has over 10 years experience with Emerson in the Machinery Health Management (MHM) group.  Before working for Emerson, he worked for 17 years with Duke Energy in various positions in the testing and diagnostic groups.  Michael has a BS in Education from the University of Georgia as well as an AS in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology from Aiken Technical College.

Mike Lewis

Mike Lewis is the Emerson’s Sales Director for the Southeast US Area.  Over the last 14 years, Mike has served in various technical, marketing and sales roles with Emerson. Mike’s technical background includes the DeltaV rollout at the Chicago ISA show in 1996 and the introduction of DeltaV for Foundation Fieldbus and DeltaV Batch.  For the last 9 years he has spent time working in sales support, business development, account management and sales management.   Mike grew up in Texas where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The University of Texas in Austin.

Ray Young

Ray Young is Vice President and Power Team Leader at R.E Mason and specializing in Severe Service.  Ray has worked with the R.E. Mason family of companies for 25+ years.  He has over 30 years of experience in the Power Industry, including time spent with Lockwood Greene, Walke-Haydell, R.S. Noonan, Mobay Chemical, and Georgia Power.   Ray is a graduate of Georgia Tech University.

Robert Skeirik

Robert Skeirik is the Senior Product Manager for Emerson’s Wireless Vibration Transmitter and is based in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has been with Emerson for over 20 years. Robert obtained his BS in Mathematics and Physics from Michigan State University and an MBA in international marketing from the University of Pittsburgh. He has written, published and presented numerous papers in multiple languages.

Ron Eastep

Ron Eastep is currently the manager of the Project Execution Services group for REM Services, Inc.  Ron started his career with FMC Corporation in Bessemer City, NC, after graduating from Virginia Tech University with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1993.  Ron joined REM Services, Inc. in 2004 after serving 10 years as a Process Control and Instrumentation engineer in specialty chemical plants.  Ron has been affiliated with Emerson and REM Services, Inc. for the last 16 years.  Ron's major focus is on batch process control, bus technology, and more recently as the Wireless Technical Champion.

TommyPatterson
Tommy Patterson

Tommy joined REM Services, Inc. in 2005 as a Systems Engineer in the Project Execution Services group. His main areas of focus are DeltaV configuration for continuous processes as well as process simulation using MiMiC.   Prior to joining REM he worked in the textiles industry as both a process and quality engineer.  Tommy holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and a MS in Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
