CSi 9420 Wireless Vibration Transmitter Enhancements

Robert Skeirik:  Wednesday 1:30-2:30 pm & Thursday 11:00-12:00 pm

As part of Emerson’s Smart Wireless solution, the rugged CSI 9420 Wireless Vibration Transmitter connects quickly, easily, and economically to any machine. It delivers vibration information over a highly-reliable, self-organizing wireless network for use by operations and maintenance personnel. Configuration, diagnostics, and alerts are imported into the AMS Intelligent Device Manager. Vibration data is also available to data historians or any control system for trending and analysis with other process parameters. In addition to measuring overall vibration and temperature, the CSI 9420 includes PeakVue technology for advanced bearing diagnostics. This workshop will review the functionality of the 9420 Wireless Vibration as well as benefits that are expected with new enhancements. These enhancements will include spectrums, waveforms, and parameter bands for display in AMS Device Manager or Machinery Health Manager. These new machine health indications make diagnosing machinery health easier and more timely.
